📖 Tekst — A day at school
At my school we have to wear a uniform and we mustn't use phones in class. Lessons start at eight and finish at three. We can choose some subjects, like art or IT. I don't have to study Latin — luckily! The rules are strict, but the atmosphere is friendly.
📚 Słownictwo — School
subjects (maths, biology, PE, IT), a timetable, a break, homework, a mark/grade, a term, a head teacher, a uniform
📐 Gramatyka w pigułce — modals: obligation & permission
Pełna powtórka, kontrasty i zadania egzaminacyjne: jednostka 20.1 w Części V.
| Modal | Znaczenie | Przykład |
|---|---|---|
| must / have to | musieć (obowiązek) | You must be quiet. We have to wear a uniform. |
| mustn't | nie wolno (zakaz) | You mustn't cheat. |
| don't have to | nie musieć (brak obowiązku) | You don't have to come early. |
| can / can't | wolno / nie wolno | You can leave now. |
⚠️ mustn't (zakaz) ≠ don't have to (brak obowiązku) — to częsty błąd!
